Damaged water pump?
hey guys.....just got this water pump in and was wondering if the heater hose passage is damaged or suposed to be like that?

I walked out to my shop and looked at a new one and the hole is open with no obstruction

I have doubts that it will hurt anything. It will be the return from your heater core.

got this from skip white (very honest seller)...i sent him an email with pics so i am sure he will let me know if this is damaged or not. i don't think that addiional hole will be a problem either, but if it's not susposed to be there I'll have him send me another pump.

I got my dizzy from him and it works well, no problems here. He is very honest in giving accurate information to buyers.
