Re: blazer on ebay

That's sure is a rare 79 Blazer. Haven't used mine for a few years either. But at least I still remember what year it is.

Re: blazer on ebay

The price will probably stay fairly low since the year is way off.

Gotta love the way they removed the rust in the rockers, bottom of the front fenders and bottom of the bedsides...

That customizing job is right out of 1979.It`s got to have a tube grille.I`d like to see the rear and front views.

Yup, it looks like they cut straight across like you would if you were going to put on rock sliders.

Re: blazer on ebay

I asked for pix - I will post them up here when/if I get them...

From my experience - when you ask for pix of certain areas that the seller knows will kill the deal they usually take strange angles and keep out the bad spots in the photos (to improve their bids) - that is until the buyer backs out and then the seller gets stuck with relisting fees...

We will see. Stay Tuned...

Re: blazer on ebay

I guess I was wrong, they didn't cut the rockers. The chrome made it look like the bottom of the fenders...

I wonder what the price is on the windshield - It looks like it needs a lot of rust work.

Why did you ask for a picture of the carpet padding, you know you can get new padding. I would think you would have wanted to see the floor not part of the carpet. Just kidding, but proves your point. Either misleading photos, or just lack of intelligence.

Re: blazer on ebay

At least the seller showed the real deal.

Seems willing to give the buyer a realistic idea of his blazer, more than the normal e-bay play IMO.

Tough shape body-wise, any interior pics?

Re: blazer on ebay

Didn't ask for any specific pix - just asked if they had any more and that was what I got back...

I would agree that they do know about the rusty spots on these blazers since they took pix of most of the spots (rockers, windshield frame, rear quarters, etc.).

Interesting picture of the carpet padding though - not sure what that would show, but I got the pix and posted them up for you to see...

VT - only pix I have are the pix I posted up - that was all of them.

Hope that helps somebody make an informed decision on it - he also provided me with his number to answer questions as needed - so he seems legit - and willing to provide information as needed. (He just didn't know the year it would seem).

**NOTE - I don't know the car, seller, etc. - just trying to help you guys out**
