plug wire & header issue HELP
I have recently, re-installed my intake and now im in the process putting everything back on i have noticed that my new delco wires on 2 & 1 are almost right against the header, i bougt some jacket protecter things from work will those protect them? wat are my options??? this really holding me up

I stopped at the local part store and picked up a wire loop kit that is held on by the valve cover bolts. Some of the other guys would probably recommend better options but, thats what I did just last week..for the time being.

well i have a real decent set of looms and im still super close to my header tube on 1 and 2, i dont wanna burn up my new wires,

I agree.
I got 'em & just love the heck out of them. Bit pricey, though. But the extra cost is worth more than buying new plug wires after you burn one up. I also run the "bolt to the rocker cover" looms. Sorry no pics. I don't have one o' them fancy digital cams, or a cam in my cell phone. And I was pretty much taught, back in the old days, of "Iron men and wooden ships", "put in what the manufacturer did."

Are you using a 90 degree boot? I have had problems with straight boots, but not so much with 90 degree boots. I just run my through the "loom" that bolts on with the valve cover bolt and no problems.

This is what I use. You can buy them in packs of 2 on Ebay. They worked for me.
