Re: Wtb-wide Whitw Walls

I don't like wide whites, but to each his/her own...

Guesses:
cokertire.com
WadeWallace.com

Google...
coker tire
wade wallace (Maybe just in Dallas/Fort Worth)

There are probably local distributers local to you... Ok, that made no sense.

Re: Wtb-wide Whitw Walls

Trust me, stay away from both wade wallace and coker tires. I just recently sold a set of 3" wide WW tires with powder coated red steelies and spider caps. I did a lot of research before buying the tires since they are so expensive. I found that Diamond Back were the best wide white walls you can buy. Cokers have a problem yellowing after awhile since they do not put anything behind the white wall and then the black leeches through to the white wall. Wade Wallace uses new-old tires he gets at discount from manufacturers due to age. Diamond back uses fresh tires and doesn't usually make your set until you order them. I was VERY impressed with the quality. Here is a pic of the ones I recently sold. THis is just my opinion, but it is from experience and research. I was going for the same look but plans changed. By the way, they areblue because I didn't even mount them or was the blue stuff off before I sold them.

Re: Wtb-wide Whitw Walls

Sure, after mounting balancing ordering and shipping tires were right at 1000. Powdercoating was 65 per wheel. I already had the wheels, and spider caps were 151.00 to my door. as you can see, not a cheap venture. They did look awesome, but plans changed.

Thank you, I really appreciate the information... those do look pretty badass, what did you have them on? Just to clarify, the tires in the photos are Biamondback's?

Re: Wtb-wide Whitw Walls

yes they were diamondbacks! The were awesome looking in person. Top quality. Those were 235/75r15 radial tires. They were supposed to be on my 68, But like I said, plans changed. I had to change the whole truck over to 5 x 4 3/4 to get the spidercaps to work. They only come in 5 x 4 3/4 and 5 x 4 1/2. It was a major pain, but I finally figured it all out. let me know if you need more info.
