Dually Conversion
Ok, I'm looking for dually adaptors to change my 5 lug Silverado 1500 to an 8 lug that'll run dual wheels and haven't been able to find much.
I've found a bed (Hopefully) and am doing a 4/6 drop this summer and was wanting to know if that will affect anything, I mean a 4/6 drop on a dually.... Thanks in advance. '98 Chevy Silverado 1500 2wd |

Re: Dually Conversion
I've been thinkin about doing the same thing to my 1/2ton suburban! I think you have to change the front to 3/4 or 1ton spindles and rotors, and depending on what rearend you may have to swap the rearend with a 8 lug (14bolt) or if you already have a 14 bolt in it (which is unlikley) you might be able to just swap axles. I know Arrowcraft makes dually conversion kits but I believe they don't offer one for a 5 lug to 8 lug. www.arrowcraft.com you can check for yourself if you want.

Re: Dually Conversion
Just go old school and make them phantom duallies!!! Regular size tires up front and 2 wide ass tires in the rear. 17x8 rims up front, 17x12 or 14 on the rear
