What size are the new wheel nuts?

I just purchased a set of the 2000-2005 (maybe more) 3/4 ton aluminum 8 lugs wheels. These have the caps that have the fake plastic lugs on the cap and the lugs have threads for you to screw them down. I have a 69 drum brake truck-what do i need to do to make this combo work? the new lug nuts are too big for my 69 studs! any help!

Re: What size are the new wheel nuts?

If those are the nuts off the newer trucks they will be metric thread also and you need 1/2 thread, I believe, but double check the thread size before you order the needed lug nuts. They are available, just ask at a parts house or do an internet search. I did the same thing, but don't recall who I purchased them from. I did the internet search for them and found several suppliers. Good Luck
