a very productive snowday

well up here in minnesota for those who dont know we are in the tail end of an april blizzard and my school finaly had a snowday so i spent all day out in the shop i added a new tach to my gauge cluster, and i got my 283 back out off hiding and started tearing it apart some more to get the block hot tanked and re machined on tuesday so i can install all the new parts i ordered for it the other day, i finaly got around to organzing my sockets and wenches and i did some work on my dads 46 case vac tractor we just had the engine redone because the crank broke and now we cant keep it running, and i got a couple pics of my dads and my little brothers bikes after cleaning them up, also i got some pics of a set of keystones that i got in on a trade

well a kid at my school said he wants them but he doesnt want to pay for them but ifi decide to keep them im gonna media blast them and then have them dipped
who knows maybe theyll end up on my truck if i ever cornvert to 5 bolt

Glad to see someone got some progresout of this snowstorms. It's finally letting up over here to the East of you. So, I'm going to spend today much like you did - in the garage, working on something. What? I don't know yet. There's always something.

Keep at it man, the snow can't stay forever...

Glad we're not getting snow, but we're getting so much rain here in the Ozarks that flooding along the White River is a real problem.

First time in more than 30 years that Norfork Dam has had to open their flood gates. Bull Shoals Dam is supposed to open their flood gates tomorrow.

I'm not as good of a photographer as See-Ten, but for those who haven't ever been privileged to see such a roaring-water sight, here's a photo taken of almost a hundred thousand gallons a second going through Norfork Dam floodgates yesterday early-AM, and an earlier "before" picture I had in file:

Hang in there.
I got kin over in Eureka Springs, west of you. The last I heard from them, which was a few days back, they've been hammered by rain, but they're high enough that they don't worry about flooding.

I read the newspaper wrong. That's a hundred thousand cubic feet per second, which is almost 700,000 gallons per second !!!

It's a mess downstream from the dam.
