Question Fuel Cell

Beleive it or not jut received my fuel cell today on (Sunday) Fed Ex. from summitt racing. I got the 16 gal pro street (Sum 290-100) that several on the board have bought. It has two 8-AN fittings which I was going to connect with 3/8" i.d. (SPE-29410).
Do i need to reduce the fitting down to 3/8" or I am missing something.

Need advice.

Thanks,

Ken

Cool Ken

[B]Hi Ken, just wanted to say Hi. I lived in Dever of the east for most of my life until 1982 when Duke power moved me down here to Clemson SC. Hope to meet up with you sometime and talk about our trucks.

I use to hang out all over Lincoln county, have a brother in Shelby, my wifes folks are all up that way also in Forest city.

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Small world isn't. You have a nice looking truck. Maybe I will see you at some of the shows, Pigeon Forge, Charlotte. I normally make it to both of these. This board and the shows is the only thing keeping me motivated.

did you already buy the hose? Areoquip makes adaptors for almost anything, call up summit, they can get you the right parts. Im not sure you can use regular aluminum fittings on that line.

call summit and ask if the hose will accept an end like this, if it will this is your best bet. Otherwise the part they are talking about will have a 8 an fitting on one side and male pipe thread on the other. Then you will also need a female pipe thread fitting with a barbed end. Got that? me neither!

fitting

I got you now. Surely they will have something to adapt to.
I called Summitt and they have a 8 AN Female to 3/8" male.
Now all I need is the 3/8 barbed fitting and I will be in business.
Thanks for the help.

Ken
