cheap street 4 link

My little brother has a weekend cruiser (59 chevy Pu) that I want to hang an explorer rearend in and a cheap street 4 link. He will never race it just cruise. I have seen the bolt in stuff but it too expensive!

Motor only:
6.44 1/8 @ 104.13
10.39 1/4 @ 125.83

Nitrous Times:
5.785 1/8 @ 118.65 with a 1.336 60ft
9.168 1/4 @ 142.58 with a 250 shot dead out of the hole!

***************** and kplinks.com both offer weld in 4 links for around the 300 dollar mark, not sure if these kits have panhard bars included. check em out let me know what u think. hows your race truck comin. see ya.

I ran into a problem with 4 links/ 4 bars and the explorer 8.8, the axel tubes are big on the explorer rear end and most 4link/4bars are designed for standard 3" axel tubes, also depending on the placement of the bars the ends of the 8.8 rears taper at the ends so you would have to sleave them depending on the desired location of the 4link mounts.

you can get any size axle bracket at SD. Just let them know your axle diameter.

Also check out thebagshack.net usually has some good prices, devon's a good guy also. He's got a few 4 link kits on there also.

I think I got him talked into one of the bolt on setups! Have you guys had any luck with one of those? They all look the same in the pics.
