seat belt switch

i got these seat belts off ebay to install in my '72 c10. any recommendations to install these without risking integrity? the buckle sides seem too short to attach to the existing bolts for the factory belts. is there hardware for them that i'm unaware of?

Re: seat belt switch

Why did you buy a mixed matched set (2 point and 3 point)??? Normally the "reciever" which mounts behind the seat is NOT retractable. I have no clue how safe it is to run retractors on both ends of the belt. The way I do it is use an angle bracket from Home Depot and run it between the plastic on the back side of the retractor and bolt it together and bolt it to the floor with a big washer under the floor but a plate would be safer. Here are some pics:

Re: seat belt switch

it's not mixed. they are both 2 point seat belts. truckandcarshop.com sells these exact belts. i guess i can sell them if they won't work.
