early style bed swap? 66 style?

I found an immaculate 66 long bed/stepside here in town for a STEAL, but recall the mounting being different. Does anyone have any information on this? How hard would it be to bolt onto my 67' frame? The wheel well difference isn't a big concern of mine as I can still make everything look good, just want to make sure I can swap it. Any info would be great

That's what I thought. A post I found stated that the cross sills for the bed wood is a little different (not worried about that) and some other stuff, but I want to know if the mounting will work. If it will bolt to my frame without crazy modifications then I'm good

All I can say is measure the mounting locations and compare.

ya getting the time off to go measure is my problem, I work 6 days a week and when I'm off this guy isn't lol. So when I take the time off I'm picking it up. I'll probably just try it out and see
