5.3 swap?

I just got a smokin opportunity on a 2003, 5.3, tranny, wiring harness, and computer out of a silverado with 35,000 miles on it for 1200 bucks and i was wondering if you guys that have attempted this swap consider it worth it, and if it is worth it then how hard is it to do? Ive got a throttle body 350 in my truck right now but i want to be able to put some more power to it and have a little fun. Thanks

Re: 5.3 swap?

Best mod I did to the truck, hands down!! Not very hard at all if your half way mechanically inclined. Way better than the glorified carb you have now. Do it!
