PVC Valve for gas tank vent?
Hi,
I'm having trouble finding a suitable vent for my under bed tank and was thinking a PVC valve could work since it's a one way valve. Will this work or are there better options that I just don't know about?

Why do you need a valve? Why not a hose with a loop in it?

I think I'd rather have a 1 way valve of some sort. I'd rather not have fuel leaking out of the tank incase it filps for some reasons, which is the main reason I moved it out of the cab.

That's actually a good idea, the PSC fuel cell in my Jeep has the same type of mechanism inside the cell for the vent connection.
I don't see why it wouldn't work..... I don't know of anything else to use, I'll talk to some off-road guys and see what or if they use anything.

I hve used a power brake booster check valve for this . Available at most parts stores

I have used small metal fuel filters. The ones that is you blow through it backwards it flaps shut.

Actually a PVC valve is a great choice. It is rated for use with oil/fuel.
