First off is my girlfriends new to her blazer. Its an 89 tbi 350, auto, with a 4 inch suspension lift and 33's. She liked my blazer so much she had to go and get her one for herself. Its a completely rust free truck with 130K on the clock. This will be her DD to replace her worn out Mitsubishi Montero sport. Only problem so far is a upper end tick, then she'll be g2g. Oh and she named it Georgeanne.

Next up is the new engine we put in my 86 K5. Its a very nice flat top 350, 882 heads with mid-sized valves. edelbrock aluminum intake, with a mild rv/towing cam. Here are some pics

Now heres the real cream puff of the bunch. Its a 1980 big 10, 350, turbo 400, posi rearend. Paid 200 bucks for it, runs and drives really good after I fully serviced it and gave it a good tune. I have wanted a good reliable truck to haul off trash/junk for about a year now and I think I found a perfect match. Oh as you can see, it was also given a new paint job thanks to my girlfriend and 6 cans of oil based enamel. Lol

Hmm I would have went with a burgundy/dark red/cranberry color instead of blue to match the interior better, but nothin beats a good work truck.

Ill get some more pics of all three tomorrow. since those pictures were taken I have had my 86's exhaust installed, and added the trim on the big 10. The big 10 is really ugly, but I had it loaded down with trash, cross ties, chicken wire and all other kinds of junk and it did great! I think it gets pretty good mileage too.

Nice paint job, although next time i would spend a little more time taping it off. that dash is in surprisingly good shape...a rattle can of vinyl die and it will be as good as new.

Well we were gonna go back with the brown and almond, then thought about lime green and purple. So blue and white it is. The big 10 will probably never go to town and will probably never get tagged, just use it around the place to move stuff around. Kinda like a big wheel barrow... an ugly one.

The blazer in the fist pic started knocking two days ago, and I have yet to figure it out. At first it sounded like a bad exhaust leak, then it got worse. I thought it could be a bent push rod or broken valve spring. Not either of those, Could carbon be a possibility? I have already seafomed it a little but seemed to make it worse??? I dont know, But after just finishing the 305 to 350 swap in my 86 I kinda wanted a break!

And for anyone who didn't know, Nico is my older brother.

Since those pics I have added the door trim, and fixed a few little things. All thats left is fix the column (ignition switch is inop, and must start it with a flat screwdriver down towards the brake pedal).

Here's one more of Whit's blazer, it turned out that the slight knock I heard was a rod bearing. As of now the engine is almost ready to be pulled, to be rebuilt. Hopefully it won't cost an arm and a leg, but either way it will be done right.

Also here's one of the Mitsubishi that is getting replaced (thankfully it hadn't sold before her Blazer blew).

And last is some recent pics of my blazer, All is done except swapping my front axle out for one that is geared to match my rear, and I also have to fix an oil leak. But here she is, and also the pics of my exhaust (which is WAAYYY too loud). The exhaust consists of 12 inch glasspacks and 24 inch echo tips.

Any comments/suggestions open to all, good and bad.

Not that I know of, it was already on it when I bought the blazer about a year ago. I kinda don't like it. I have thought about doing a 89-91 update, but haven't found a good enough donor.

I think Big 10 looks pretty good and if ya get some silver wheel paint and hit the wheels with it i think it will look even better.
