Re: Survey: What billet/machined parts would you like that aren't available?
That is your design call. If it is going to be a cool billet piece I would imagine the bedside would be the best place.

or you could hide the fasteners for a clean look in a recessed portion, so that the radio flange covers it...

That was the direction I was leaning, the only problem is it relies on the dash cutout to be in pretty good shape. Did you base those off of measurements you took or just a best guesstimate?

Another vote for outside door handles. That would be really cool.

I don't mean to hijack, but I'm currently engineering some of those for my Suburban. Would they be marketable?

Re: Survey: What billet/machined parts would you like that aren't available?
We sell most all the billet parts available right now for these trucks.
Marquez has prototypes for side markers, but have not been released yet. Fesler hood hinges should be available within the next couple months. As mentioned, severe drop trucks have major interference issues with the hood hinge area so one offs is really the only way to go there. Ryan Hubbard has the nicest billet dash panels available, and he does have a matching glove box. Billet side trim would be cost prohibitive unless you building a deep 6 figure truck. When looking for a product to market, it is the simplest and least expensive thing to make that will drive a market frenzy if it is the right product.

I know another member made some before, but what about billet radio, wiper, head light, and lighter knobs.

Re: Survey: What billet/machined parts would you like that aren't available?
I think there would be a big market for rear lens surround plates that are similar to the look of the musclerodz ones, but use the factory holes. Think of the large number of guys on here who have invested in clear or led lenses and like the look of the stock trim. But many of these do not run the top trim piece on the tailgate. A piece that looks like the outer musclerodz trim, but that surrounds the lights and fills in the holes would be a winner in my book.

I would love to see brushed aluminum interior door panels to compliment a billet dash, Stereo cutout, and glove box. Would look nice with a black interior.
