I'm only thinking about it.... don't freak out.

I might put the old gal up for sale and trying to determine value... 67 short wide, large rear window Custom with rebuilt 350 with tons of work including new crank, rods pistons and etc.new 4 core radiator, headers and new flowmaster exhaust, rebuilt 350 turbo trans with 2500 stall and shift kit, Power steering and tilt, rebuilt complete front end, rebuilt brake system, dropped 4 inches in the rear (now),Spray in bed liner, new 18" wheels and tires, have posi for the rear and everything to convert to 5 lug disc. only rust is passenger side rocker has 2 small nickel holes. Odometer shows 12,000 miles and was last registered in 1970 before I purchased it. It could 112k. however, I don't think in 3 years on the farm it went that far.

What is a fair value for this truck?

I had this in the WIW area and had 1 responce in 7 days.....

So, what would your next project be....assuming you do sell the old gal? I'm really itchin' to be able to get mine on the road again. The pain of withdrawal is offset only by the lack of having to put gas in it.....right now.

Cool truck! Hard to say what it's worth. Doesn't look like much is moving right now. I'll tell you what, I'll swap you my 1970 factory Big Block burb.................. Good luck if you decide to sell it.

Hard to say maybe between $3-$6k depending on were you sell it. I know right now the patina thing is still going hot so it would sell for a decent amount right now as is. If you were to paint it the price could drop. Tell you what I will trade you that truck for your 67 Nova SS

Re: I'm only thinking about it.... don't freak out.

I saw this little Nova in the back of a dealership. I had to pull in and check it out. come to find out someone had just traded it in a few days earlier and they had no idea what to do with it. So $500 later I was driving it home. has all the SS everything from the bucket seats, center console, correct everything... The rest is history

That is just crazy insane.... I figure that some of the guys that work for some of the dealerships have some mighty fine cars for just the reason that you've talked about..

Throw up a pic of the nova....
love to see it....

HavinSomeFun.... sorry I haven't gotten back with you, it has been a crazy week. I haven't been able to get my FIL up to the house to see it, and then I was on the road earlier this week.

Mine looks just like yours except blue, no tubs, paint is faded, no roll cage, ...... Come to think about it mine looks nothing like yours except it is a 67 Nova SS. I will scan some pictures this weekend with its 1984 paint job on it.

Re: I'm only thinking about it.... don't freak out.

I hate to say this on here, but i'd advertise it on here and Ebay. If you have a minimum in mind, put a reserve on it on evilbay, and list a firm price on here. I think you could see more than the 3-6K mentioned because of the patina and strong 350. The market does seem to have slowed due to the economy, but with decently restored trucks (ie not 100pt re-do's or even full frame off's) going for 20-30K on Ebay, i'd throw it on there with a reserve and get some nice cash towards finishing the SS.

Ok, see what happened here. You posted a WIW in the right place and didn't like the results...broke this rule.

Re: I'm only thinking about it.... don't freak out.

So, did you go talk to Keller? Did you know about his Nova's before I told you about them?

Talk to Billy at Dub's Muffler shop in Benton. He has a pair of Nova's....one a HT, the other a 2-dr sedan....both with V-8's....both '66's. I gave him a shop manual for the '62's I used to own. Didja know there's a picture in the front part of the '62 Shop Manual, dated in '61, that has V-8 flags (283) on the front fender? They knew they wanted it to have a V-8 from the git-go.

Loved me some No-Go Chevies!! (Nova in Spanish)....yeah, right...No-Go?
