putting 08 alloys on 06 hd
I'm looking to upgrade the wheels on my 06 regular cab 2500hd. I was looking at a set of takeoffs from an 08 that are 17" and an inch wider, and wondering if there would be any rubbing/ or other issues. It would be great to get some bigger tires on there! The 16'' steels arent cutting it anymore.

Should be fine. Just remember your speedometer and odometer will not be as accurate anymore. It could be off a good bit,..ie you will be going faster than what the speedo registers because of the larger diameter wheel/tire combo.
Other than that you should be fine. Oh yeah, welcome to the boards always glad to see new members.
