The trading post was actually the old general store at the end of my street. The general store was opened in 1944 by a husband and wife team, both have passed. I actually saw Chuck Norris driving by on my way home. I went blind for a brief second and totaled my truck! No seriously, the trading post on the show was actually filmed at the end of my street in Ovilla, Texas.
