Re: Lets see them running boards

These putcos were on when I bought it. I took them and the bed rails off, and I like the way it looks without them.

Sorry for the huge pic, photo bucket stalls when I try to downsize.

Re: Lets see them running boards

I want a set for the simple fact of preserving my truck, thisbody style has the wheels out past the fender lips and the side of the truck and under the doors like to fill up with everything thats on the road. I put mud guards on for now but still would like some boards, havent found the set I want yet, mounting is important cause I don't want something that bolts to the rocker.

Re: Lets see them running boards

The Putcos on my truck in the picture mounted to the frame and were sturdy. My dad had running boards on his truck and finally took them off, and there are now little rock chips on the paint of his rockers.
The conversion package that came on my truck has the black rubber rocker strips that I am counting on for rock chip protection. I would like to have the "invisible" film rocker protectors, but for now this is what I have. You probably don't care about my truck, but I told you anyway. You could buy mine, but your probably not close to Montrose, Colorado. Anyway, have a good day.

Thanks Jeep&GMC I care about everyones posts, I,m not that selfish. The clear film sounds like a good idea, I had my wifes suburban rockers covered in spray on bed liner.
