Found a 72 Suburban today - Opinions?
Don't know a lot about it because I did not have time to stop, but definately looked very good from the road. It is sitting on specialty dealer lot.
72 Chev Burb fresh 454 last year Factory A/C Roof air painted with bright yellow. Aluminum rims Lowered Phoned dealer and he said it was from Arizona, and is still licenced for Arizona, and is trying to sell, while up here for winter. This price seems very good for my market at $7,500 CDN Opinions??

Without seeing it ,it sounds like a fair deal.Especialy if it's not needing any work on it.

One look at the underneath will tell you whether it is an original AZ truck

Sub
Mountain Man, are you interested in buying it? If not, can you get me some pics of it or give me the phone number of the dealership.
I am looking for one. Peter |

If it's an AZ truck and is rust free, then I'd say it's a good deal. You and I both know that rust free doesn't come along very often in Alberta. I could spend $7500 in body and paint alone on my '68.

Hell I'd think that that was a good price even if it was U.S. dollars. 7500 canadian with no work and 454. That's all you need. Hell you don't even need A/C just roll down the windows with that big block goin down the road.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I will go back and go over it front to back and under neath and report back. I'll take my camera with me. From the road it looks as good as my 67, and I have twice that amount invest in my truck, and I don't have a big block.
If it is as good as I think it is, it is a steal, but I will have a better idea when I look at it. Not sure if I want it , as I don't have room to store another one inside the garage. Will report back with details.
