Need Help Finding Choke Thermostat

Im having trouble finding the choke thermostat for a 69 straight 6 250cu. single barrel carb for my c10.
I want my motor to idle as proper as possible and think that'll help a great deal I just cant find the dam thing. thanx

I had a hard time finding one too. I ended up getting one from the local NAPA, but it had to be ordered.

Do you have a manual choke and want to convert it or do you already have the carb setup for thermostat control choke? Mine came with a manual choke setup.

I believe someone has asked this before. Might do a search and see what comes up. Maybe someone else remembers...

LMC carries a choke for a 72 six. I'm not sure if it's the same as a 69 but maybe someone here may know.

Last I could tell, there are a least two different types - one goes down between the head and the intake and on my 72, it's on top of the intake (which makes absolutely no sense to me but it is what it is). I'll TRY to post a pic here of mine.....

The first isn't mine - the choke rod goes down in between the head and intake - you can see mine in the second pic, it's on top of the intake
