Temp sending unit for a 68 with a 350

Where can I install my coolant temp sending unit on a 350 for a 68 C-10, with temp gauge (not switch/lamp)?

The old motor that I took out had it installed in the water neck, but prefer not to install at that location.

Where on the block/intake should I install?

If your heads have a tapped hole, you can put the sender in the
one on the left. 69-72 had the sender located in the left head, not sure about the 67-68 location.

some intakes have a spot on them with a plug that you can put them in just make shure its the water passage.

what about if you have double hump heads-so no holes in there, and a intake but your thermostat housing is in the way? i have the same problem
