Junkyard Score

I found this nice solid blazer windshield frame in the junkyard yesterday. Someone had already cut it off and it was just sitting in the bed of a pickup. Got it for $20.

Re: Junkyard Score

I'd definitely agree that was a score whether you need it or not!

Yeah, I am not sure if I will need it or not but I just couldn't leave it there.

Re: Junkyard Score

Good deal! I never see any blazers in the junk yard, but I saw a blazer top the other day. It had good glass, hatch hinges and the brackets on the front of the top (top to winshield frame). I was going to pull them, but there was a huge hole under the top. My luck would have a mother badger come out of the hole and protect her young.

Re: Junkyard Score

I've seen two in the JY. Both were pretty much stripped, I did manage a CST transfer case shifter from one though.

Re: Junkyard Score

I have yet to see a Blazer in a junkyard. That's what was odd about finding the windshield frame, there was not a single Blazer in the yard.

Let's not get side tracked, you have an engine to worry about and your windshield frame is fine isn't it?

Re: Junkyard Score

the reason you found only the windshield frame is because that was the most valuable part on the blazer---the rest was probably junk!hehehehe

I think if he wanted to sell, it would be in the classifieds.

Re: Junkyard Score

If you want to post a WTB there is a section for that. If he wants to sell it he'll post in the classifieds. Please don't buy or sell on this board.

Not for sale at this point. If I do decide to sell it I will post it in the classified section.
