WIW 200-4R NW Arkansas......

I have no idea what it's worth, I never installed it and have no idea if it works or not. I really want a four speed automatic, but I would rather have a 700-R4

To be honest. When I sell a tranny of unknown origin or reliability I just sell them for core charges. That is just my opinion though.

Re: WIW 200-4R NW Arkansas......

I gave $20 for my last one down the road at the salvge yard . Not alot of people know about these transmissions , so many are scared of them . Alot of the value depends on year and what it came out of . A buick Gran national , Monte carlo SS , or Olds 442 Trans are the most valuble . The later the year the better as factory upgrades came as years went by . The diesel trannys are the least desirable as the has a totally different valve body in them . The buick , olds , pontiac v-6 and v-8 area upgradable with hi-po parts . There are tags and casting #'s on the tranny that with a little research will tell you what you have . Hope this helps .

On the Tag:

O.......G (in Big letters on top of tag)

262-2T-84-OG-1290

1984 model 200-4R built in Three Rivers 1290 serial number

That's all I could find in my book.
