Ipod hookup
Does any one know how I can hook up my Ipod classic to my stereo with out having to spend the $130 for a hookup? I have a 02 Silverado and the stereo is a CD player.
Thanks Ralph

Re: Ipod hookup
Without a tape deck, the only answer I can offer you is an FM adapter.

Re: Ipod hookup
Does you cd player have Aux. RCA's in the back???
If so all you need is a RCA Y adapter to a 3/16 stereo jack..

Re: Ipod hookup
not true. the RCA's can either be outputs to go to an amp ect, or inputs to go to plug in a 6 disk changer or something like that. If you get one of those adapters and plug it into the pre-amp outs it will fry your ipod. Ask me how I know.

Hey OJ-this is a offtopic, but How come I've never seen your stepside before here in S.A.? I'm on the northside (Blanco/1604) but I drive downtown 4-5 days a week.....

Re: Ipod hookup
Very cool. I think that should get a way better reception then the normal FM transmitters.
Thanks you
