Nice, very helpful, thank you. The truck has a stock suspension, BTW. One of my friends knows a guy who does mobile welding, so I'll probably try and get ahold of him. Thanks for the help, guys.

DKN... Can you use a stock length shock with those mounts? They don't look like there is much meat to them.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yes you can. They are made from 3/16" steel. I think that the OE 4 wheel drive part was a little thinner than that.

It's intresting that GM recognized that the shock stud was weak and only offered a gusset on the 4 wheel drive applications leaving the 2 wheel drive trucks to break.
