Tornado went through just East of town

-
I know the guy but I didn't know he had this till now. Scanned this from the local paper so pic isn't the best. I called him and asked what he was going to do with it. He said he didn't know for sure. I told him if he was going to get rid of it I was interested and if he was going to fix it I would help him... It is a shame, he said it was in pretty good shape. It was in a machine shed....

That sucks. The picture isn't that great, but it appears that it was a pretty nice pickup.

Thanks Levi. It did a quite a bit of damage for about 20 miles, from Barnes City, IA to Victor, IA. It went through about 3 miles East of me. Luckily it was only an EF1.

Now the question is,"Did it get hurt?"Sometimes it takes more than a little old building coming down on one of theses trucks to hurt an old Chevy truck.

I haven't been out to look at it yet, gone today and will be gone all day tomorrow. They should have it uncovered by now. I will go out Monday & take some pictures of it and see what it might need.

Re: Tornado went through just East of town

I love this site.

A tornado drops a shed on some guy's truck and board members are ready to go out and help the feller.
I wish I wasn't a couple thousand miles away, just so I could join in and help a bit.

Bless all of you.
You have a greater reward coming.

Re: Tornado went through just East of town

Sorry to hear of the damage caused by the tornado.

I wish I was closer, I would offer to help the guy out that had the shed fall on his pickup.

Looking forward to seeing more pics.
