shop in Maryland??

guys im looking for a shop in Maryland that can completely redo my bed.. right now the sills are completely GONE and the PO welded diamond plate over the existing floor. what im looking to get done is a sheet metal floor with custom tubs for larger wheels and a hidden compartment for 2 NX bottles. and of course new sills

anyone know of a place that can do this and is reasonable? my problem is the bed is sliding around and eating up my tires so i would like to get it done ASAP

thanks
Joe

Re: shop in Maryland??

What you`d like to have done would most likely cost more than what you`d pay for a better bed.

Re: shop in Maryland??

well 2k would be too much for a stock bed. which is what ive seen for a used bed. 3k seems to be a decent price range for what im lookin for. i would do the work myself but just dont have a garage or help takin the bed off. i usually do all my own work on just about anything but im willing to pay someone to do this for me.

Re: shop in Maryland??

Keep looking.I see salvagable beds go for way less than $2,000.I wish I couls point you to a shop near you.Up in Westminster is B&D Truck Hoist.Just check a welding shop.My local welding shop would just have B&D cut (sheer) and brake the pieces per drawing, then weld it up in place.

I know what you mean about not having a place to do stuff.I have alot of things done that I`d rather do myself. But,no shop or space for some things.

Re: shop in Maryland??

well i will say it did "look" better than a huge rust hole but it didnt do anything to help hold the bed to the frame lol. there is only 1 bolt still holding it together

once this rain stops i guess i can try to get the rest out
