Hangers 'n Shackles oh my!

So before i stimulate the economy I wanted some advise on lowering.

I want to go as low as i can (3/5?) using drop springs and hangers and shackles.

Any suggestions about what brand to go with for parts?

Do i have to buy special shocks or do OEM replacements work?

Can i see some pictures of other trucks that have been lowered using drop springs and H/S?
