My new daily driver :-)

Hey there, just thought i'd share my new daily driver/ work truck that i bought off my Dad. It's a '92 GMC Sierra LWB. My Dad bought it off a local guy for $600. The old 305 engine was shot so he threw a used 305 in that was kicking around the farm. So far it has been running great, seems to have as much power as my '87's with 350's. I bought some Edelbrock shorty ceramic coated headers for it, but i'm waiting to put them on until i put dual exhaust on it.

The body is in decent shape. It's got a few minor dings here and there, and minor surface rust around the rear drivers side wheel well. All in all, from a distance it looks presentable. I just updated the grille today to a '94 - '98. I have a billet grille insert ordered and plan to have the GM grille painted to match soon. I went with the APC clear corners, and also was lucky enough to find the old style clear tail lights to match aswell.

Some other things i plan to do are:
- smooth chrome front bumper w/solid air dam
- new headlight and signals
- sport (SS) mirrors
- rear roll pan
- stainless steel wheel well trims
- lower 5" front 4" rear (ish)
- Lorider tonneau cover
- clean up interior a little, add alarm + stereo
- etc etc etc.........man this is a sickness

I threw on my '80's style ralley wheels and lo pro tires just until summer comes and the roads are cleaned. I plan to run the 17" Billet Specialties wheels shown in the last pic during the summer months. That is also a chopped pic of how i would like it to sit.
Anyway just thought i'd share my new money pit. Let me know what you think.
