54 chevy pickup engine upgrade

hello all i need some help i have decided to replace my 235 inline6
with a 350 i ran into a problem the gearbox the manifolds will not
work i have tried a few different kinds and but none are working
i am in the process of moving the gearbox out about 1.5 inches
out but before i do that i thought i would see if anyone has any
ideas on this issue. thanks Oscar

What motor mounts did you use when you swapped to the 350? What transmission (gear box) are you using? I used Sanderson cast iron headers (manifolds) with a ceramic coating so I didn't have clearance issues with my 350/700R4. Cool to see another '54 being done. Any pics?

I thought he was talking about his steering gear box. I used block hugger headers with a Heidts Mustang II. No clearance problems here. Send pictures showing your problem.

54 chevy pickup engine upgrade pics

ok i am using a th350 tranny short tail trying to keep the steering intact
so i'm keeping the original box i have 2 manifolds and a shorty set of
headers. any more info would be great thx my pics are to big i'll try to get
smaller file size sorry
