Books
I'm about to start getting my truck back on the road and I have a load of parts to fit, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, HEI dizzy, new valve covers, power brake booster setup. Is there a good book that covers the engine side of things that anyone can reccomend as I've never delved into a V8 before, just little old mainly triumph 4 pots before.
Thanks

Re: Books
"How To Build The Smallblock Chevrolet" by Larry Atherton and Larry Screib.
Excellent reference, out of print, though I managed to get a used copy online. Also the Chassis Service Manual, for what ever year truck you have. That's available from board vendors.

Re: Books
Got the chassis service manual, ideally I want something I can get from amazon etc as secondhand books on US cars/engines are few and far between this side of the pond. Did Vizard do a rebuilding small blocks book?
