tranny linkage

Hey guys,
I need some help. I need a picture or a description. I have a 350/th350 combo. I installed my tilt column yesterdayand I cant figure out how the piece of linkage that is mounted to tranny connects to its mating piece. It seems like there is something missing. I have everything in place but I dont see what is going to keep these two pieces in place. Any help will as usual be appreciated. Thanks, Rich

Re: tranny linkage

Is this what you are talking about? Couldnīt find a better picture right now.

I did find another one. I had to lighten it up a bit. It was a dark picture.
I wasnīt trying to get a picture of the linkage, it just happens to be in the picture I was taking.

Re: tranny linkage

blukangoo, it looks like I am missing the spring. Is that some kinda clip or pin that holds the spring on there? Jeremiah, yes thats the exact set up I have. It looks like you are missing the spring and retainer also. Thanks guys.

Re: tranny linkage

Yep. first the spring, then a small washer and a small cotter pin. Doesnīt seem like much but it holds.
