B/B-Elect fan Qs

Just trying to get a jump on this. Ive got a BB (stock location, mounts etc.) Ive got a Be cool (1000hp setup) radiator with dual fans. Is this going to clear a long water pump, or am I going to have to swap it out for a short unit?
Anyone faced this problem?
TIA, Tom

How much was that rad?? I'm running a similar set up, using the march system with a long water pump. i am using a stock 4 row, but i dunno if it'll cool me enough?

my setup with dual fans should have enough room. (theoretically - with measurements) . if that helps you at all?

Eh... I can almost guarantee if it does fit, it'll be a lot closer than you would like. I need to swap my long pump for a short one, as well. Another reminder not to buy parts until you NEED to install them. D'oh.

I am using a griffin 2 core aluminum rad and a flexalite dual 13.5" 5500cfm setup, and with the motor installed a half inch (or so) back from stock, I cant slide the fans in between the rad and water pump. Maybe 1/2"-1" off or so. How thick is your fan setup?

I cant remember, but I think it was around a grand. It appears to be about the thickness of a four row. Its the thickness of thefans that has me worried.

Re: B/B-Elect fan Qs

Its gonna be painful to sell all of my long water pump brackets (PS and alt), and swap them out after taking so damn long to find.

It might be easier to change the radiator mount and move the radiator forward about an inch. Cut the core mount and section that part and then shorten the hood latching bracket.
