I think I'm going to make a utility trailer out of it. I've got an 8' bed that I'm going to make an off-road trailer out of. Neither project exactly on top of the list, however.

Cool longbed stepside

Here is my wifes 1970,still needs alot of work.I think new tires will be the next thing,I have some deeper slots for the back just waiting for some new rubber,I dont want to put them on with old tires,then get a new front bumper, that bent one sux,then who knows after that, maybe lower it abit

Mike, that really would make a nice trailer, in fact my miller bobcat would look right at home mounted in the bed of that.

Paul, I am looking for a bumper like the one on the bronze and white truck that mtdave2 posted, is yours like it?

Here's a pic of a lonstep thats on ebay right now, that step above the rear fender doesnt look home made and the guy did a pretty good job of boxing in those bed rails with safety plate.

what id love to see is a 72 longbox step 1/2 ton 4x4. those are about the most rare trucks chevy made. i cant remeber the number but it was under 20 or so.

there use to be a 68 long step 4x4 in town here that had a 3" body , a 4 " suspension lift , 40" rubber and a 454 under the hood. He never really took care of it, just used it for a mud toy. Wonder what ever happened to it now.....
