why does the passenger rear tire lean in at the top??

my passenger rear tire leans in at the top and i can not figure out why. i have a few friends with the same style truck and theirs does the same thing. it is a 1998 gmc sierra reg. cab, short bed. i am eager to find out why this is. does anyone know?

It leans in at the top, so that the people getting out of their cars, in the spot next to yours, in the Walmart parking lot don't get stuff on them as they walk by the truck. Shucks that is the best I can do. My 91 does not appear to do that, so I am missing this one. Are you sure that it is not just an illusion of where the bed sets compared to the frame and axle?

My guess if the tubes or housing were bent, then you would have some serious noise issues from that side of the truck.

there is no noise from that side...could it be wheel bearings......maybe??

The wheel bearings are flat roller and are not "loaded" like a conical front. If it's not an optical illusion, something is bent.
