Factory rear view mirror location

I'm still feeling the pains of a shoddy windshield install. Months later, the rear view mirror came off in my hand this morning.

Now the mirror seemed fine where it was, but before I get some go buy the proper glue that probably won't ever come off....does anyone have a truck with the factory windshield or some measurements I can go by to make sure mine is in the factory specified position ?

I have a replacement windshield, and the mount is just below the sun band. Of course, being a replacement, I have no idea if the sun band is the same height as stock. Just wondering because I have no idea if that sorry excuse for a glass shop took measurements off the factory windshield or just plopped it on where they thought looked alright.
