Early Classic good and bad
I bought a ton of stuff from them, probably around $300 worth of interior handles, window handles, exterior handles, window felt kits, windshield wipers, exterior mirrors, etc... and it's been on the truck for six months or so. I lost one exterior mirror driving down the road (head fell off the arm) and they sent me another, no questions asked. I E-mailed recently that all of the rivets were beginning to rust, and both mirrors had rusty areas on the splined areas between the head and arm, etc... and asked if they could do anything.
I didn't get a response at all. So I E-mailed once more, more adamantly, and got a nice response asking me what I needed to make it right. I outlined a replacment/refund plan, which was promptly agreed upon and shipped. As soon as I ship the defective parts back, my partial refund will come through. The parts are iffy, but they don't make them. The service won me over in the end.

Re: Early Classic good and bad
I've spent plenty with Early Classic and have been very pleased with them. Some of the stuff I've received from them has been crap but as you said they ALWAYS stand behind the parts they sell. Unfortunately the manufactures of the parts don't produce the best stuff.
I bought all the peices for the fleet bed on my truck from Early Classic and the tailgate didn't fit. The tailgate was from Goodmark. Early Classic refunded my money and the shipping. They no longer sell reproduction tailgates because all of them out there suck. I have never done business with a company that has treated me better!! Early Classic is the BEST!!!!!!!! |
