Re: TheTruckShop builds the best
Actually the old early classic truck belongs to a buddy of mine in North Carolina. It now has 18 and 20-inch Boyds on it.

Re: TheTruckShop builds the best
This is Jason with The Truck Shop. I build the trucks for and with Jerry. Thank you all for the comments on the trucks. I do not post alot on this site because I am not a paying site supporter. If the people in charge have a problem with my trucks being posted I will become a supporter. Just let me know.
As for my trucks, the 2wd blazer is 75% orig. paint. The hood and left quarter have been painted. All else is factory. The 4wd orange blazer has been lowered to factory height now. The orange and white truck is the truck from early classis enterprises. It was sold to a man in Vir. Beach. I have alot of pictures of other trucks that have been in here. I would post if anyone would like to see. I build alot of trucks and sell alot of parts. i like the GM parts orver the aftermarket. If anybody wants to know how the stuff fits I would be more than happy to tell you. Like the doors, they are not the best. Just ask and I will tell. It is better to find out before you buy, then fuss at the parts when you get them. |

Hey Jason,
Long time no see. Hope things are going great for you guys. When I saw a thread about the shop I had to speak up and offer my support. Tell the family (church too) that I said hi. Hope to see you soon. Brent

Re: TheTruckShop builds the best
Jason, you dyed a steering wheel for me in march '07, you were worried it wouldn't hold up because it was very sticky when I sent it to you. After more then a year of daily use it still looks great with NO stickiness at all.
These guys don't know how to do a job without giving 100%. My wife and I will be in Tenn for Christmas again this year and I'm planning on stopping by again and getting myself some more presents.

Re: TheTruckShop builds the best
Jason,Jerry asked for help finding a pair of CST/20 name plates.I have one and e-mailed a picture, but it didn`t go through. Our resident emblem-phile,TooMuchStuff,told me he had a decent pair and I sent him The Truck Shop`s way.Hopefully I`ve been able to help.I`ll call next week.Been busy since Carlisle.
I started this thread to give praise where praise is due.Nothing but excellence from out of that shop.Hey,feel free to post all you want. All members are equal here.Te only limit is when it comes to "For Sale","What It`s Worth",and "Want To Buy" posts. Tell us the scoop on that hot rod`67...please.

Re: TheTruckShop builds the best
That looks almost like ours. I wish ours was a 72 like that. Here is some pictures of some of our trucks in the past and a 67 nova we just built.

Re: TheTruckShop builds the best
The guy selling that Stepside on Ebay said it was built by The Truck Shop.He didn`t say when.Prolly a good while ago.
`66/67 Novas are my favorite pony cars. All nice trucks,of course. That short red K/10 really got me.I have a thing for medium gold.I`m thinking about doing the short stepside K/10 I`m piecing together in that with saddle bucket interior. Thanks for sharing pictures.I need to call the shop.Jerry was looking for some CST/20 nameplates. Our resident emblem nut has some to offer. We can`t get through on the e-mail address.I sent a picture of the one I have and it didn`t go through.I hope to call tomorrow.

Re: TheTruckShop builds the best
Over 20 years ago I bought my 69 Chevy SWB Fleeetside in Concord, NC. It had a rusty Tailgate, no rust anywhere else. So at the old Charlotte Autofair (held at the old Metrolina Speedway in Charlotte) I ran in to a guy selling 67-72 Chevy turcks parts. He had a new GM Tailgate in the box Just what I needed! I had to go back to the ATM to get $$ to buy it with. Anyway this guy was Jerrry. I was impressed with his knowledge of these trucks and he even had a catalog of parts. Back then most were selling Chevy car stuff and it was harder to find parts for our trucks. Great Guy and Great looking Trucks!

Re: TheTruckShop builds the best
I do remember that green 72 stepside. We rebuilt the running gear in it a couple of years ago. Added a/c, ps, pb, 402 motors and a 700r in it. That was a great running and driving truck. The body was not the best. I have pictures on my wall of the before and after of it.
