I've already got the steel's. I'm liking your opinion about doing both, but my wife probably won't see it that way. I think what I am going to do, though is go ahead and run the rallies for now, because they are ready. I need to get the old tires off of the steelies, strip and paint them, and find rings and moons that I like. I plan on making the wide whites myself, and I want to practice on some old tires before I try it with brand new rubber.

Re: Steelies or rallies? (and an anti-rant)
I'm running 275/60's on the rears of both trucks, and I have 245/60's on the front of the red truck, and 235/70's on the front of blue truck. I'm think of stepping down to a 215/70 on the front blue to get a little in the front.

Rallies are hard to beat, for the clean, traditional look.
I get a lot of "thumbs-up" when I'm out. |

With the flat paint, my vote is for red steelies with the wide whites and moons. I love the rat rod look on these trucks.

THat is a great idea, not everyday and definitly cool! I was thinking too of a bright shade of green with smoothies and trim caps. Hey, not to highjack the thread, how did your wheels trun out? I have some "different" ideas for mine.

Re: Steelies or rallies? (and an anti-rant)
those arent thumbs lol j/k awsome truck, i agree the rally's look good for the traditional, oldschool restored look. Steelies painted up, with nice center caps. are more for rods/ ratrods...depending on what your taste is.
