Kick Panel Vent Seals - How?

I got new kick panel vent seals today, but have no idea how to install these. What do you use to adhere the seal to the actual vent?

Thanks!

You need to drill/cut out the old rivets holding the vent together. Then insert the new seal and rivet the pieces back together. Takes a while, but not too difficult. I just bought a cheap rivet gun for the job.

Thanks! Where do you buy rivet guns? Any particular kind that I need?

Re: Kick Panel Vent Seals - How?

I purchased mine at a local Orchard Supply Hardware. Less than $20....It tightens the rivet and than automatically snaps off the end. Here is a similar picture....from Sears.
