Re: small window question

1967 was the last year that GM used the small window as "Standard equipment" in the light duty trucks. The large window was only offered as an option and was call the "Paneramic View Rear Window". With the large window 67 is the rarer of the two. Some have said that they know of original 68s light duty trucks that have small windows, but I remain unconvinced about that. I do not know the numbers of each, and I am unsure if they even exist, but someone will chime in if so. WES

Re: small window question

I have heard it said that small windows could be ordered on '68's. I see an awful lot of 68's with the small window-too many to be all from switching cabs, IMHO, and equally too many to be from switching beds and front clips. I believe there were more '68's that came with small windows than people think, just my opinion.

Re: small window question

I'm with wes on the small window 68. Till someone shows me an unmolested 'survivor'... I'll say they didn't exist in 10 - 30 series trucks.
The small window was "how it used to be", then they started offering the panoramic window as an option. The smaller one offers a little piece of mind when you are throwing junk in the back, less glass to hit, and if you do hit it, it is smaller and stronger.

Re: small window question

I have to agree with wes and andy on this one. I have seen alot of trucks, but never a small window 68-72 unless it was a c-40- c60.
