powerglide to 700r4
I need help building a parts list, and I know this is a fairly common swap, so run through what all you needed?
700r4 - looking for pre 73 if possible TC Do I need a new shifting unit in cab? New indicator? What do I need there? kick down cable? shortening (or lengthened) driveshaft? Upgrade U joints while yer down there? What else? |

1982 was the first year for a 700r4 there are no pre73.

Quick FYI... I read where you want to get the late 1986 or newer ones because of some problem with the earlier models.
