How about a 295/50/15? You'll have a section width of at least a foot!

Re: what size tire for 16x10wheel?

thanks 70c10!

I like how the 275/60/15 looks on a 15x10 wheel, so do you think the 285/60/16 will look just as good with a 16x10 wheel? is anyone running this 16"setup?

Re: what size tire for 16x10wheel?

i have 16x8.5 centerlines & when i got my truck back on the road i went to discount to get my tires & about all i could find in the 16" size were my 255/60/16 it is not what i wanted but the guys there said that with the new size of wheels that alot of the tire people are not making a 16" tire. atleast performance tire. i could get a truck tire for the 16" wheel & some for the 16.5 wheel. they still make alot for the 15" wheel & then ofcourse the hot wheel sizes like 18" and above. i was disappointed, but the 255 size is not bad in the back but it is a little big for the front. i decide on them & to just save up & get my 18" wheels & tires when i can....

good luck!

Re: what size tire for 16x10wheel?

ap2002,
have you checked those tire sizes out at the tire shop? i had planned out my tire sizes as well & when i went there they did not offer those tire sizes anymore or i would have to special order them directly from the manufact. $$$$ big time. just my 0.02 cents worth. i will try to get a few pics of my truck tonight. i always say that then i look at it & find all the reasons why i haven't yet.... but i will try this time!

thanks!!

Cool Re: what size tire for 16x10wheel?

they would only rub under hard cornering. cuz the bushings in the trac. bar were totally gone. i cured the problem by building my own adjustable hardbar with spherical ends
