First car show

I am going to my first car show June 22 in Pismo Beach Ca. and I was thinking about printing up this build sheet and giving out free. do you think this is a good idea or not. This is a working truck and I thought it would be nice to show people what it was built for.

Re: First car show

Go to a printer have that put on a poster board on a small easel. Laminated it will last you a long time.

Re: First car show

I was thinking a display board as well... maybe even put a dollar figure on what you have invested...

Re: First car show

the more "pop" you have in your display, the better.

I used to display (with my truck) a custom painted oil and gas can, fire extinguisher, and jack and accessories. Judges like to see that little something extra that defines your rig!

Everyone is right, you need to go with either and easel or self supported signage.

lastly, if you have any areas that are well detailed but not exactly noticable, utilize mirrors!

I've had several show vehicles throughout the years and these little tricks do work.

GOOD LUCK AND GET PICS!!!! I love your rig and boat combo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haysonj, I hope Pismo will be my first show as well. I will make a point to stop and say "Hi' at the show.

Re: First car show

I would say skip the build sheet and pull your boat/trailer to the show. It is a great looking combo!!

If you are going with the build sheet idea, you might want to condense and clarify a bit. Also get a picture of the truck/boat combo with water in the background, the drug store is not so impressive
