Great Budget Fuse Block for LS engine swaps & others!

I found this great fuse block for engine conversions & just had to share it. If you go to the junkyard you want to look for 95-99 C & k bodies (full size pick up & utility), 96-05 M & L vans (Astro & Safari), and 96-02 G vans (express & savana). The one I purchased was for $5 localy. What makes this fuse block great is the fact you can add or remove cicuits as you see fit. You can have up to 10 maxi-fuse ckts, 18 mini fuse ckts, and 6 relays. It all comes neatly packed in an easily dissasembled box.

Stick a small flat blade tool into the slots. 4 of them in all and release the retaining tabs.

Depress the small grey retainers & remove the terminal locks.

Next you want to remove the terminals by taking something like a sewing needle to release the retainers.

Then gently pull to remove the terminals.

I believe the terminals removed from the original ls fuse block can be directly swapped into this fuse block. I will know for sure tommorow.

Nice find. The relays can be set up for normally open or closed operation, and power or ground controlled. The micro relays & ATM fuses use a 280 series terminal. I'd need a close up pic of one to determine if it is a 280, 280 tangless or GT280 though. Probably the GT series.

I didn't have good luck with my cheapo camera either. Looks like we need to see the other side of your terminal for ID.

The two "tangless" terminals in the pic are for different gauge wire.
