Re: antenna question

it probably didn't come with a radio... so no original piece to be looking for.

I posted that and I still don't believe a fully loaded CST came without a radio. The only thing I can see is the dealer replaced the cowl and moved the antenna because of the camper. My truck was registered as a housecar in California.

thanx for replying haysonj I couldn't find the thread and i couldn't remember were u said your antenna came out. The one i was looking at actually comes out of the side fender horizontally then turns 90 degrees and goes strait up

Re: antenna question

Those were definitely after market I had one like that on my 75 motor home. The problem I have believing mine is not factory is because the chrome bezel matches the slope of the fender perfect

Re: antenna question

is radio listed on your SPID? CST doesn't include a radio at all, never did, nor did cheyenne. It's just a trim package. I had a very well equipped CST with dummy lights instead of guages. A LOT of ppl said it was bogus. They were wrong, and I proved it to every single one of them.

Re: antenna question

The camper history makes the most sense for a strange antenna location. The front of the camper probably hung over the standard antenna location and it needed to be moved for proper operation. Interesting!!
