i have been thinking about doing this same mod to my truck. i think the guy did this to improve his fuel mileage 100%

We have stands similar to those at my work. I got to looking at the weight rating on them and they’re rated for 2500 lbs a piece, these are cheapy Harbor Freight stands too. I don’t know how much a Suburban weighs but the stands are good for about 10,000 lbs with the four of them. That doesn’t account for wind and mud though. Love the picture though
BTW, I could use the mirrors, front grill, and hood next time you out that way …. |
