A/C bracket and headers
I'm sure someone out there has the answer. I ordered a pair of Headman headers for Ol yeller. I looked at the factory a/c bracket and realized its not gonna fit. Ithere an aftermarket bracket specifically designed for use with headers, or am I gonna have to grind the origional one to fit? BTW, the bracket i'm talking about is bolted to rt side exhaust manifold. Thanks, Mario.

Re: A/C bracket and headers
I'd custom fab ya bracket if it were me, it is under the compressor and
out of sight anyways so who will see it? (BTW - I have the same issue)

Re: A/C bracket and headers
You can also make your own from some 1/2 inch pipe. It moves the bracket out far enough so you only have to grind a little off of the factory bracket. Just cut two short pieces of pipe to square the bracket to the engine.

I have one of the aftermarket brackets, I also have an original bracket that has been modified to fit headers. I will take some pictures today and post it so you can see what you are looking for..
