1 piece glass
hi guys,
my friend is building a '55 chevy shortbox yesterday at Monroe he bought 2 doors for $30 and he wants to do 1 piece in the doors. but when we were looking at them, we noticed there is not enough room for the window to angle towards the back when it retracts. but we would still like to know if it is possible or if he has to keep the vent wing thanks

Re: 1 piece glass
I think you answered your own question.
In reference to your post below. Well after looking at Cal 58's thread I do indeed see it is possible. I guess It's time to ask him how. I spent about an hour going through his build thread before I found the photos of the inside door but didn't take time to find any detailed description of how he did it. Looks fantastic though. you may have to modify the door a bit for the glass to clear that front dogleg. Last edited by mr48chev; 05-20-2008 at 02:52 AM. |

Re: 1 piece glass
The best advice I could give is to buy Brothers one piece glass kit. And since the window will not go down if the angle is not right and they have all of those angles figured out for you.
Here's the link. http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...r=OPWK900%2DCL
